About Lisa Krause
M.Sc. in Psychology & Psychotherapy
In my private practice, I offer online support for adults and couples navigating personal crises, emotional distress, and recurring relationship patterns. My approach combines humanistic talk therapy with somatic, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic perspectives.
The focus is on how past experiences, relationship patterns, and coping mechanisms shape your daily life. Together, we explore new ways to connect with your emotions, needs, and boundaries—fostering deeper self-awareness, inner clarity, and a greater sense of choice.
“Many people seek support because they only want to function again. Yet it is often this very expectation that exhausts them. My work creates space to understand that inner pressure and gradually let it go.”
“Healing naturally unfolds, when you stop fixing yourself.”

I am Lisa Krause — a psychologist, therapist, and someone deeply curious about what lies beneath the surface. As a highly sensitive and empathetic person, I have a keen perception of moods, subtle nuances, and relational patterns.
Having lived in six countries, I now intentionally choose a quiet life close to nature with my partner and our five dogs.
Living with a progressive muscle condition shapes my perspective on the body, on change, and on what truly sustains us in life.

My approach is warm, attentive, and collaborative—while also being clear, direct, and grounded in humor. Together, we explore how past experiences, protective patterns, and your nervous system shape your daily life. Through new experiences that gently challenge old internal assumptions, your everyday reality can gradually begin to shift.
The goal is not to fix yourself, but to understand yourself more honestly and to develop new ways of relating, thinking, and acting.
Existential or spiritual questions are also welcome here.

I studied Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Witten/Herdecke University, graduating with a Master of Science. I am also a licensed practitioner of psychotherapy under the Heilpraktiker Act and a trained yoga teacher.
My work combines humanistic, somatic, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic perspectives. For over ten years, I have also explored psychedelic experiences, along with their psychological preparation and integration.
With online-mpu.org, I also run a specialized practice for online MPU preparation.

My online psychological and psychotherapeutic support is for adults and couples who want to navigate difficult times, understand themselves better, or discover new paths for personal growth.
A formal mental health diagnosis is not required.Common topics and goals for growth include:
Anxiety, depressive phases, and emotional overwhelm
Stress, burnout, and physical symptoms
intense anger, irritability, and recurring conflicts
Self-esteem issues, shame, and harsh self-criticism
stressful relationship and attachment patterns
Questions regarding closeness, intimacy, sexuality, and desire
early conditioning and long-standing coping mechanisms
personal crises and times of transition
a deeper connection to your own feelings and needs
the unfolding of aliveness, creativity, and personal potential
more curiosity, self-confidence, and inner clarity
Preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences
This support creates a space to understand what is weighing on you while also discovering new aspects of your personality. The focus is not on self-improvement or conforming to an ideal, but on developing a freer and more authentic connection to your inner experience.
Clarity begins
in conversation.
In a free initial consultation, we will get to know each other and discuss what is currently on your mind. Together, we will look at what kind of support best fits your needs and your situation.
If we both feel that working together is a good fit, we will discuss the next steps, the timeframe, and the costs.
