Somatic Psychotherapy
Somatic psychotherapy is an integrative, body-oriented form of psychotherapy that works with the connection between nervous system, emotions, and lived experience.
I offer online, individual sessions for people who want to explore emotional patterns, chronic tension, inner conflict, or the effects of stress and complex trauma in a calm, grounded, and professional therapeutic setting.
The work is process-oriented, paced with care, and shaped by what emerges in the therapeutic relationship rather than by a fixed protocol.
Clarity begins with a conversation.
If you would like to talk through what brings you here, a consultation offers a first point of orientation. It is a confidential, non-binding conversation.
Approach
Authentic experience.
My work begins with staying close to what is actually felt in the moment. Rather than analyzing or trying to change things quickly, we slow down and notice emotions, bodily sensations, and inner responses as they arise.
From this new attentiveness, regulation and inner stability can emerge naturally — without pressure, effort, or the need to perform.
You don’t have to believe — what you think.
What feels difficult inside is often not only about the emotion itself, but about the meanings we learned to attach to it — often early in life and outside of conscious awareness.
In our work, we slow down and create space to sense what is present now, while loosening habitual interpretations. From this place, clarity can emerge, and a more grounded, trusting relationship with yourself can develop.
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”

my clients bring
-
Early emotional experiences shape how we perceive ourselves and others.
Somatic psychotherapy works with these imprints carefully and gradually, without re-traumatization or pressure.
Read more about complex trauma. -
Emotional numbness or constant inner pressure can be signs of a nervous system that has learned to stay alert or protected.
In therapy, we gently explore what led to this state and how regulation and emotional access can slowly return. -
Anxiety and inner restlessness often reflect a body that struggles to feel safe enough to pause.
Somatic psychotherapy focuses on restoring a sense of safety through awareness, pacing, and nervous system regulation. -
Anger is often a protective response to unmet needs, boundaries, or earlier experiences. In therapy, we explore what lies beneath anger and how it can be expressed and regulated in a safer, more conscious way.
-
Challenges with closeness or boundaries often develop early in relationships where needs were not consistently met.
Therapy offers a space to explore these patterns and build safer, more flexible ways of relating. -
Shame and harsh self-judgment can lead to disconnection from the body and inner experience.
Through compassionate, body-oriented work, a more supportive and grounded relationship with oneself can develop. -
Persistent tension or physical symptoms can carry emotional or relational meaning.
By listening to the body rather than pushing it away, new understanding and relief can emerge over time. -
Compensatory behaviors such as substance use, overworking, or control often serve as strategies to regulate inner tension. Together, we look at what these patterns are trying to manage and develop healthier ways of self-regulation.
I work with people who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in recurring inner patterns.
Rather than diagnoses, I focus on the person behind the experience. Many difficulties are shaped by early relational imprints held in the nervous system.
A first conversation can help clarify whether this work feels right for you.
